Where can you get your own domain name for free?

So yeah, I want to make a website where it has a blog, gallery, and a forum. BUT, I want it for free and I want my own domain. Nothing like website.weebly.com. I want something like website.com. Thanks in advance!

It's not possible to get a free domain because you would have to register it through ICANN, which is the non-profit organization in charge of managing domain names. Someone has to pay for it. If not you, then someone else. The reason why a site that gives out free domain names does not exist is that it would be expensive to upkeep. We're talking about millions, possibly even billions if everyone expects to keep their domain names forever and they want top-notch hosting with all of the features they would normally get with paid hosting to go along with the names.

To get an actual domain with the things you want, you're going to have to pay for a domain name and a good domain hosting service. It's not the domain that you have to worry about. It's the hosting. A good, reliable hosting service with a decent amount of features and space is going to be expensive. You can go with free domain hosting but it will have limited features and space and it will probably be unreliable and temporary. You would then have to install the required scripts to get what you want.

If you want to do it for free, your only choice would be using a standard blog site, like blogger, and creating a forum and gallery on separate sites and linking to them on your site.

You probably know a good amount of blog sites and photo sharing sites so I'm just going to help you with the forum.
