I've created a mysql database via phpMyAdmin on a shared hosting server (globat) which is actually a script for the entire site. My question is, how do I link this database to my site? Its as if the homepage/domain just needs to be pointed to read the database and all I need is to create that connection. The question is how? Its not one of those www.mysite.com/folder/install.php methods. I have therefore opted for the manual way of importing the script to mysql using phpMyAdmin and now just need the steps to follow so that when I log on to my site, it reads that database. Please give me idiot proof steps to follow? Thank you in advance.
