Mike Nickels, a well renowned, and self-taught tattoo artist from Denver Colorado starting training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu 3 years ago and has surpassed everybody's expectations. With a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Rigan Machado, this 34 year old MMA fighter has dominated in other events such as Grapplers Quest, and the Pan American Championships placing first place in both. In his most recent appearance in "The Ultimate Fighter Season 3", Mike submitted Wes Combs with a perfect rear naked choke at 3:30 of the first round.
Training four to five hours a day, Mike has earned himself an impressive professional record of 4-1-0 and is determined to keep on going.
