Who Owns My Domain Name

Domain name help?

If I create a website under a .org domain name and then the person who owns the same .com domain name imitates my website, is that legal?

You will own what is called the Intellectual Property of the site but it is going to be very difficult and costly for you to prove misuse. I could make a site that looks identical to yours but use totally different coding - so mine is technically not the same. Don't worry about it just get your site up the ladder in the search engines.
