how to change domain pointers without the knowledge of host provider ?
if host provider scams may i change my domain pointer to some other host provider with out his knowledge
a small qty of money may be lost but the later if suspends like that
we transfer a copy of the content "back up" to a new host & point to that site or the host providers lock domain pointers also
explain please
The domain pointer should be changed through the domain registration company, not your hosting company, unless they are one and the same. I'm sure whichever company you switch to, would be more than happy to assist you with any problems you run into. IMHO Rackspace, while a little pricey at times, is the BEST company out there if you are looking for a managed server.
