Domain Guests Rights

I'm currently attempting to configure the guest OS to use a host interface network connection?

(to achieve file sharing and potentially domain membership with other machines on my local network). So far I've done the following.

1. Created a ifcfg-br0 file in my /etc/sysconfig/network directory.
2. Entered settings for ifcfg-br0 according to what was found in the VirtualBox User Guide.
3. Added my eth0 connection to the bridge.
4. Using ifdown and ifup, disabled my eth0 connection and enabled br0.

After these steps I am able to connect to the internet on my Linux Host without any trouble. Assuming this puts me on the right track, I proceed with:

# VBoxAddIF vbox0 dcasper br0

This should (and does) create a vbox0 TAP connection.

Now you need to configure Samba by the sound of it. Should be fairly easy using Samba's web interface.
