How do you start a dedicated game server on a webserver, not for any particular game?
i am registered to 000webhost with unlimited bandwidth. I was just wanting to know how i would go about using that[or another free web server] to start a gaming server. One game inparticlar is call of duty 1, how would you go about setting up a dedicated server for that through 000webhost or another free web server.
i dont want to buy servers or rent i want it free.

There is no game servers that are free and 000webhost is only for the websites and its their server, not yours. If you want to host alot of player slots You need a real dedciatedl server that has alot of bandwidth because if people join your server, you'll see people lagging and your ISP gives you less bandwidt, which is bad, I am aware of hamachi, but I don't know anything about how they host it like this. My best bet is to rent a game server.
